The International Conference on Pattern Recognition (ICPR) is the leading event of the International Association for Pattern Recognition and recognized as a top conference in the field. It encompasses a wide range of topics where Pattern Recognition methods are applied in fields including Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Image Processing, Speech and Natural Language Processing, and Sensor Pattern Processing.
Between the face-to-face ICPR conferences of 2026 and 2028, we will run an ICPR (Virtual) in 2027. Why? 1) To provide a lower cost conference opportunity for researchers with smaller budgets and 2) to reduce the ecological impact of long-haul air flights. To enhance engagement, the conference will be structured around smaller thematic sessions rather than large lecture sessions.
