The Robotics Program is among seven programs in the Computing and Mathematical Division at Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) in Abu Dhabi. We recently reorganized the department structure into the new division structure. The team of the faculty and the students who were in the Robotics Department are now associated with the Robotics Program.
The Robotics Program (Department) started in Fall 2024 and currently has 9 fulltime faculty members and 62 graduate students (43PhD, 19MSc). At MBZUAI, Robotics Program focuses on the research and education in Robotics on the growing basis of AI. We would like to invite applicants who works in computing of AI and real-world application of Robotics and have
(1) an internationally recognized research track record,
(2) an ambitious agenda of Robotic research,
(3) a commitment to mentor exceptional graduate students and build world-class programs.
All tenured/tenure-track positions of Assistant, Associate and Full Professor are available. We particularly encourage junior candidates in robot learning, intelligence in human robot interaction, data-driven manipulation, and field robotics to apply.
